‘Shut Up and Drive’ Takes the RC F to Palomar Mountain Road
Having previously conquered some of the most breathtaking twisty stretches of road around, the racers from Fox Sports 1’s Shut Up and Drive are about to outdo themselves.
Shut Up And Drive‘s premise is pretty basic. You take two stud drivers with celebrated racing pedigrees, champion Le Mans racer Justin Bell and world-class drift car champion Rhys Millen, you close down a glorious stretch of windy road, give ’em a Lexus RC F, and let the cameras roll, baby, roll.
Last episode featured our duo of daredevil drivers scorching Highway 141 in colorful Colorado. It’s some of the most fun you can have watching someone else drive. Well, until July 5th at 9:30 pm ET when the next SUAD airs on Fox Sports 1.
As you can see in the preview below, the next stunning stretch of highway our two friendly competitors are facing is one of the world’s most famous drives: Palomar Mountain Road in the sprawling hills of San Diego, California. Just look at the picture above! Palomar is chock-full of hairpin turns and menacing shadows, which makes it a frequent playground for hooners the world over. But as Bell and Millen find out, it’s a whole lot more fun when it’s all yours.
