MY RIDE! A 1993 Lexus SC 300 With a 1JZ-GTE
When it comes to outstanding cars, Lexus vehicles usually come out on top. In every possible way, these cars are the clear winner. Luxury? Can’t find a ride more comfortable. Performance? Definitely competitive in every way. Reliability? I’ve never seen a Lexus broken down on the side of the road. It doesn’t really matter how you look at it — these rides are just the best.
To illustrate this point, today we’ll be stepping into the garage of Club Lexus member ducatisamy and taking a closer look at his wonderful Lexus that lies within!
Ducatisamy bought his ride, a 1993 Lexus SC 300, earlier this year. The vehicle was a one-owner car with just about 100,000 miles on the odometer. It looked clean and drove nicely, so what more could he want? Unfortunately, things changed in late July when the block blew out on him. This definitely isn’t a normal thing for these superb rides, but, nonetheless, it happened. Still, ducatisamy didn’t give up!
He proceeded to drop a 1JZ-GTE Toyota Soarer motor under the hood. Though he’s yet to start it up since the swap, he’s hoping that everything went smoothly. And so are we.
