Party On! Lexus RX Tops Kelley Blue Book Lux SUV Best Buys of 2016

Kelley Blue Book is THE book by which cars are valued. It’s pretty much the industry standard. Which is what happens when you’ve been publishing about car values since 1926.

So when hearing of a company as admired as KBB doling out praise on one of our own, it’s exciting. Which is why we ask that before you read on, please make sure you are in a suitable habitat for displaying uncontrollable excitement.

Now, without further ado, we’d like to congratulate the new Lexus RX, Kelley Blue Book’s Best Buys of 2016: Luxury SUV! To achieve such an honor, the RX beat out fellow finalists: the 2016 Acura MDX, 2016 Lincoln MKX, and 2016 Volvo XC90.

After pointing out the remarkable fact that some 40-percent of RX buyers are previous owners, KBB goes on to offer insight as to why they picked the RX:

“What put the Lexus at the top of everyone’s list, including ours, was a winning combination of refinement, quality, reliability, quiet comfort and extensive luxury features. The Lexus RX has been redesigned for 2016, expanding on its already stellar offering of amenities.
