Official Gas Station Pics Thread Is Highly Combustible
As a writer/editor here at Club Lexus, I’m afforded ample time to peruse the forums. In my forum sojourns, I’ve come across all sorts of wonderful threads, filled with page after page of information and fun. So I’m constantly scanning thread titles to find my next treasure trove. But perhaps no thread-line has ever caught my eye like this one in the GS – 2nd Gen section, tastefully titled, “Official Gas station pics! post pics pumping gas!”
A thread with double exclamation points is obviously one that’s worth getting excited about. I’m guessing that back in 2010, just before this thread kicked off, 5t341th was out filling his tank, playing with his Blackberry Torch, and he snapped the picture above. A beauty by any measure, which he was obviously excited to post up.
A thread was born:
“hey i thought this would be a good thread. do you ever pump gas and then decide to snap a few pics? post em up! me at sams club pumping money into the tank.”
Well, it must have been a good idea, because the thread is still alive, five years later. It’s just full of goodies, too. And it’s exactly what you think it is: lots of hot Lexus rides, posing at the pump. Below are some of the best pics from the thread, but honestly, go check it out for yourself, because you wouldn’t want to strike a match around any of these highly-combustible cars.
