This is the Most Insane GS300 in the World

You might be thinking that I’m speaking hyperbolically. I’m not. There’s little doubt in my mind that this GS300 is absolutely unique.
Other GS’s have nitrous and turbos. Sure. A few GS’s even make 1000hp.
But with a rotary?

There’s something to be said for the folks in Australia and New Zealand: they absolutely love their rotaries. Remember, the land down under brought us the six-rotor engine and they’ve stuck it pretty much every where else it would fit. This, however, is one of the few times I’ve seen a four-rotor stuffed under the hood of anything not made by Mazda. It looks…

… Predictably epic. They’ve also strapped it to a humongous turbocharger. Oh, right, and nitrous. Lots and lots of nitrous. The video below has the engine running in all of it’s lovely, pissed off, buzzy glory. Apparently, they were planning on running a more typical 2J build. I’m glad they changed their mind. Speedhunters says that the car should make 900 rwhp.

Formula D pilot and rotary afficionado, Mike Whiddet, is responsible for building this monster for drifter . Considering he rolls in an equally insane four-rotor RX-7, this shouldn’t come as a surprise.
