The 2UX3J Project: Urban Circus @ TAS 2013
Tokyo Auto Salon is one of the most anticipated car shows showcasing Japan’s finest auto and parts manufacturers. Did you know 2UX3J is “Lexus” spelled backwards? Well it’s true, and its part of the artsy “Urban Circus” theme for Lexus at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon.
The 2UX3J Project consists of our uniquely styled Lexus “F” model. Each Lexus model was given to renowned Japanese designers to put their spin on what wild animal each Lexus represents. Each of these designers are well known for their work with very prominent labels.
LFA SPIDER “WHITE TIGER”
Because the White Tiger is the largest and most rare in the feline species, designer Shingo Abe wanted the LFA Spider to represent this rare and regal animal. There is only one LFA Spider in the world as we know it.
LS 600h F SPORT “BLACK LEOPARD”
This is an LS 600h F SPORT w/F SPORT PARTS. Designed by Masanori Morikawa, the theme of this LS was to mimic the strength of a black leopard and its sharp teeth as represented by the studs which border the top of the car.

GS 450h F SPORT “ARCTIC WOLF”
Artist and designer Tadaomi Shibuya says that the GS possesses the character of a wild hunter in the forest. A graphic of a wolf’s skeleton shows the inner strength and power of the new GS.
IS F CCS-R “MOUNTAIN LION”
Designer Toru Shibata expresses the agility and power of a Puma in the IS F CCS-R. The graphics give an illusion of stop motion, to capture the speed and power of the IS F CCS-R standing still.
