Shmee150 Drives the Lexus LFA for the First Time

If you’re into supercars, you know who Shmee150 is. The affable bloke has filmed and driven just about every exotic under the sun, but until a few weeks ago he hadn’t gotten a chance to get behind the wheel of the LFA.

Given that he lives in London, I’m going to guess that he shot this video when he was in town for the Ferrari 60th Anniversary Celebration in Beverly Hills. The LFA in question is the press car that’s on hand down at Lexus HQ in Torrance. This example has over 43k miles on the clock, and my contacts at Lexus have confirmed that while some of the interior bits–like the seat bolsters–are showing some wear, the mechanicals have needed nothing but routine maintenance. That’s obviously impressive for a supercar, but given what we know about Lexus durability, it’s not terribly surprising.

For those keeping score at home, this is the very model that gearhead God Jeremy Clarkson drove when the lads from Top Gear drove from Palm Springs to Vegas a few seasons back. Enjoy the clip.
