New Pictures From the Insta-Built RC F at VIP Auto Salon
SEMA is just a week away, and the Insta-Built RC F is coming together nicely. Lexus has posted some shots of the work being done at VIP Auto Salon on its official Instagram account, along with a sick pic of a Vossen CVT wheel fresh out of the cutter.
As a kid, I thought they were disgusting–for the record, I still do–but the pic of the hood being done wrapped makes me think of Fruit Roll Ups. What flavor this would be is completely beyond me, as I don’t think Mother Nature makes anything edible in that hue. My closest guess for a flavor is “Caribbean Seawater,” which would probably be unpalatable, and ultimately kill you from dehydration.
That said, how awesome does the APEXi exhaust look? The titanium tips are a nice touch. Given how sweet the RC F’s 5.0L V8 sounds in factory trim, I’m thinking these pipes will give it an even nicer note. Let’s hope we a clip of the car running before it hits the floor in Sin City!
