Japanese Orders for RC F Hit Sales Goals Out of the Park

In a feat that no one–even Lexus–saw coming the new RC F coupe has already surpassed its two years sales goal in Japan.
This past month, Lexus received 900 plus orders for the new RC F coupe. That’s around 30 times the monthly estimate goal. That’s frankly amazing, especially in a country that prefers Kei cars over normal cars.
What’s even more fantastic is that Lexus has also received an additional 1700 orders for the RC 350 and RC300h. That comes out to be roughly an additional two years of supply for the car.
Our editor loved the car when he tested it at Monticello, but we never thought it would sell like this. This is just frankly amazing. Especially when you consider that some of the Japanese journalists allegedly snubbed the RC drive event.
