Flashback Friday: LFA vs CCS-R at Long Beach

About a year ago, the only real performance offerings from Lexus were the IS-F, the LFA, and the F-Sport line. There were fears of the IS-F being cancelled, there was no hint of the RC coupe, the idea of an RC-F was pure fantasy, and a collaboration between BMW and Lexus was nothing more than a whisper on the wind. There were just these two: The LFA and the CCS-R.

They’re different tools for different purposes, so it’s pretty rare that we get to see them in action in the same time. One of those times was at the Long Beach Grand Prix last year where they had an exhibition. They might not be really “racing” per say, but the sound is enough reason to share this.
