New Lexus LF-LC and 2013 LX570 Debut in Detroit

If the Lexus LF-LC is the future of Lexus, the LX570 represents the current state of the manufacturer with a grille and body-type that mirrors the current 2013 line. The SUV debuted at the Detroit show, and has all the Lexus hallmarks – a solid engine (5.7L V8 in this case) – and the air of quiet luxury the brand is known for.
But it’s the LF-LC concept coupe that’s raising eyebrows, and pulses. A long nose, swept-back headlights, plus Lexus spindle grille and short rear architecture fulfill the sport coupe concept with panache. This concept looks like a sports car with L-shaped front lights, big wheels and a sleek, aerodynamic body. The interior is awash with touch-screens for control and entertainment, amidst a sea of leather, suede and luxurious glossy wood and metal accents. There’s talk of the taking the concept to fruition, and we hope to see Lexus make those rumors reality in the next few years.
