Our friends at CarsDirect are reporting that current active duty members of the U.S. Military, inactive reserves, military retirees within one year of retirement, and household members of eligible U.S. Military personnel can receive a $1,000 Military Reward Program incentive (up from $750) on any new Lexus. You just have to finance your vehicle through Lexus Financial Services before January 3, 2017. That higher amount now matches the discount Lexus is offering in the form of the College Graduate Program incentive.
Perhaps you can use one or both of those reductions and lease a nearly $39,000 2016 IS 200t for $349 for 36 months ($1,999 due at signing) or a $50,295 2015 GS 350 for $409 for 36 months (after paying $2,999 at signing).
Derek Shiekhi's father raised him on cars. As a boy, Derek accompanied his dad as he bought classics such as post-WWII GM trucks and early Ford Mustang convertibles.
After loving cars for years and getting a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Derek decided to get an associate degree in journalism. Over the past several years, Derek has learned how to drive off-road in various four-wheel-drive SUVs (he even camped out for two nights in a Land Rover), and driven around various tracks in hot hatches, muscle cars, and exotics. Several of his pieces, including his article about the 2015 Ford F-150 being crowned TAWA's 2014 "Truck of Texas" and his review of the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, have won awards in TAWA's annual Excellence in Craft Competition.
