LFA Plus LC Plus Seashells Equals Super Hot Design Study
What do you get when you combine two of the hottest Lexus vehicles ever made with seashells? You get this beautiful concept from design student Yang Sun.
As you can see in his online design study (some of which is highlighted in the gallery below), Sun’s project was initially inspired by seashells, of all things. And if you look at the results, dubbed the Lexus LF-LA, you can actually see how those initial inspirations found their way into the final design.
Of course, if you’re a budding automotive designer, it’s probably good to be inspired by some actual cars as well. And Yang chose two of the finest around: the Lexus LFA supercar and the upcoming LC 500 luxury 2+2 coupe.
This is a purely independent design, which isn’t officially linked to Lexus in any way whatsoever. So we’ll likely never see a real Lexus model that even closely resembles this purely aesthetic design. Besides, Lexus apparently doesn’t have any plans to build another supercar anytime soon. But according to CarBuzz, Lexus’s PR team did highlight Yang’s design, so hey, maybe they’re inspired by it too. And by seashells. Cause really, who’s not inspired by seashells?
