LFA Takes Pretty Passenger for a Ride

This is shameless, base, pandering... We love it. Houston Performance does it again with another addition to their long line of videos putting pretty girls in hot cars. Their latest puts this charming young lady in the passenger seat of a Lexus LFA.
Aside from the, uh, visual stimulation, there's also the wonderful sound of the LFA gunning it at full tilt. Redhead or not, the V10 howl of the LFA is one of the best noises in the car world. Watch the videos below.

Reggie King (Tue, 10 Apr 2012 05:03:01 -0700): She doesn't seem too excited.
Joshua Morrison (Tue, 10 Apr 2012 05:20:47 -0700): Meh, to most women, and indeed most people, a car/truck is simply an appliance, nothing more.
Joshua Morrison (Tue, 10 Apr 2012 06:31:29 -0700): and to be sure, to most people, spending $400,000 on a Lexus LFA is not only impossible, but incredibly wasteful.
Alex Chen (Tue, 10 Apr 2012 10:07:39 -0700): Car is clearly not fast enough for her, Put her in a Supra.
(Mon, 16 Apr 2012 19:36:02 -0700): this is better: http://youtu.be/FHYja3xEYOc.
Peter Murray (Tue, 17 Apr 2012 16:15:29 -0700): OK, I liked the pretty gir, the car and its speed but at $400,000 it is not everyman's toy. Further is it smart to do such speeds on a common roadway where vulnerable families are driving along obeying road rules?
Marlon Vitug Garcia (Tue, 17 Apr 2012 21:56:02 -0700): wow.. the driver sucks! I agree, don't drive on main street, take it to the track.
Zack Watkins (Tue, 17 Apr 2012 22:16:13 -0700): From the looks of the girl I am not so sure the driver's hand is on the proper shifter.
Bryan McGill (Fri, 11 May 2012 14:53:54 -0700): Thumbs down, Club Lexus. Get yourself a closed course and I'm all about it. This is lame you support this type of driving on public roadways.
Jack Latham (Fri, 11 May 2012 14:56:01 -0700): She seems......"smart".
(Tue, 05 Jun 2012 20:14:26 -0700): Sometimes I wonder why they even allow comments on videos such as this...
(Tue, 05 Jun 2012 20:15:12 -0700): It would be going backwards to put her in a Supra. The idea is to put her in something fast.
Kyle David Simon (Wed, 04 Jul 2012 01:02:34 -0700): thiis isn't by CL bro. This is a Huston Performance gig. I agree with the lack of forthough, though these guys are a pretty reputible shop so I'd assume they took safety measures.
Nathan Peselnick (Tue, 10 Jul 2012 09:49:49 -0700): simmer down, pussy.
Ron Arnold (Sat, 21 Jul 2012 15:59:08 -0700): Looks great Huh? now lets show the reality of it all this was videoed in a everyday community street very stupid for a start! if performance shops are going to promote their product in this way then they also must accept responsibility for allowing a young mind a hi performance vehicle such as this. No lets have the other side that is not shown lets see the beautiful young ladies who's lives have been cut short because of some idiots desire to impress as the same idiot is unable to impress physically or mentally certainly makes you think doesn't it? so lets show the young and the death that can be the rsulting factor please!
Phil Arnold (Sat, 21 Jul 2012 20:14:33 -0700): shez hot! and that engine sounds awsome but yeh its stupid how thier driving like that on public roads where anything could happen. dumb asses!
Travis Edwards (Mon, 23 Jul 2012 15:51:25 -0700): As long as driver actually knows how to drive I have no problem with him driving with a little spirit on a public road. Only in america are their such low speed limits etc, cars specially cars such as this are ment to be DRIVEN. Idiot kid weaving in and outa traffic with no turn signals slamming on breaks cutting people off is a different story but don't see that here.
Chris Campanale (Tue, 21 Aug 2012 18:12:20 -0700): Jarod DePastene, sorry but if you put just an eighth of the cost of that car into a supra you could beat the stock 11.6 second 1/4 mile. Lex Chen is definitely on to something there...
Victor Martinez (Thu, 23 Aug 2012 17:04:36 -0700): her pussy has had bigger and better excitement that's why she's not that happy
Victor Martinez (Thu, 23 Aug 2012 17:06:16 -0700): Jk
Patrick Tillapaugh (Sun, 16 Sep 2012 10:14:54 -0700): Pay attention Bryan, yeah it`s on CL site, but was posted by a reputable shop,Huston Performance. The car was being driven in a spirited manner but to go through several upshifts he would need ample room to accelerate.
Jarod DePastene (Fri, 21 Sep 2012 07:47:52 -0700): LOL..... you thought "fast" meant 1/4 mile times....
Jarod DePastene (Fri, 21 Sep 2012 07:53:45 -0700): Besides.... what do a 400, 800, and 1200 brake horsepower Supra have in common? 13-second 1/4 miles. It's true. Unless you spend a small fortune on a completely re-engineered gearbox and diff, you're not going squeeze much more out of a Supra, no matter how built the engine is. Besides.... the LF-A's powerplant gains and loses RPM so swiftly, they had to use computerized instrumentation just to keep up with what the car is doing. You're going to spend a lot more than $400,000 keeping up with that Jones.
Chris Campanale (Fri, 21 Sep 2012 08:42:38 -0700): Seeing as how he is driving in a relatively straight line in the video, when the OP posted "not fast enough for her" one's understanding of "speed" at that point would be equivalent to 1/4 mile times. If you are talking autocross, then I would have to agree with you, the LFA would make an appetizer out of a Supra. However, that doesn't appear to be the case here. It would be ignorant to argue any points for Supras in the autocross world as they are more renowned for their place in drag (hence 1/4 mile times). Just saying... Oh, and to answer your question, the difference between 400, 800, and 1200 bhp can be seen on the following site. [http://www.suprastore.com/tosutop14mit.html] I agree, people have been known to drop some serious cash into a Supra to get it to do this, but still less than the price of that LFA though. Nothing against the LFA, I love the thing, just saying that it's a little biased/ignorant to say it would "make an appetizer out of a Supra."
Jarod DePastene (Fri, 21 Sep 2012 11:05:09 -0700): Well... I'm into a little more substance, when I go racing. I crave corners. And, not autocross, neither. Road tracks are more my style. Now, if only there were a closed freeway just to race on, then my old Datsun might find a suitable environment. :) Yeah... 1/4 mile is fun... but then again, so is drifting. Neither of which are considered actual "racing" by this man. But, fun? Absolutely. What I wouldn't give to find a decent Gen2 RX-7 to play around with... then I could show you a thing or two, on my kind of track...
Jarod DePastene (Fri, 21 Sep 2012 11:06:38 -0700): Also.... to everyone reading.... stay safe, stay alive.... keep it on the track. More competitors, less funerals.
Chris Campanale (Fri, 21 Sep 2012 11:22:40 -0700): I feel you. Old Datsun huh? I just picked myself up a new 2013 370Z. :D Tons of fun! Also... I agree, people should always stay safe and leave in on a closed course!
