How to Vinyl Wrap a Lexus LFA
It may sound easy, but wrapping an LFA is a lot harder than it looks. Luckily, the folks at VIP Auto Salon and InStyle Graphics have what it takes to transform the all-black Lexus LFA #032 to resemble its Pearl Yellow P#014 sibling.
We know that the vinyl work was done for an episode of the History Channel’s Top Gear USA. Exterior and interior parts were carefully removed to wrap each body panel completely. Because the LFA is very curvy and angular at some sections, it was difficult to stretch and form the vinyl. The time lapse makes it look like a simple job, but the wrapping the whole thing took a staggering 18 hours from start to finish. Thanks to the magic of technology, it’ll only take you 5 minutes.
