Lexus Shows Off the Capabilities of the 2016 LS and LX
In what has to be one of the most gorgeously shot Lexus commercials ever, Different Routes (shown below) aims to showcase the broad spectrum of vehicles in Lexus’s lineup — at least in the top tier range. Highlighting the 2016 Lexus LS and the new LX 570, the two essentially head up a mountain, but as the video’s title suggests, they do so by using two very different routes.
The curvy, beautifully paved roads takes the LS up the mountain in quiet grace, while showing off the big 7 Series fighter carving canyons like an RC F. The LX 570 however is a completely different story. With a massive supercharged V8, and enough ground clearance to roll over Portugal, the LX 570 cuts right in front of the LS and takes the rockier, grass covered bits up the mountain.
The video actually does its job really well, by finely displaying the capabilities of luxurious Lexi to the consumers. However, we just wish it would be a lot longer, and maybe show both cars straining a little bit more. But then again, most folks probably won’t ever take their LS or LX out for such strenuous activities anyways.
