Lexus LFA Shooting Brake: The Wagon You Never Really Knew You Wanted

LFA Shooting Brake

Car renderings are becoming commonplace in our Photoshopped world of make believe, but this is one image every shooting brake fan has been dreaming of, even if only subliminally.

Actually, where else could such a thing as an LFA Shooting Brake come from, other than from someone’s drunken dreams? It’s certainly not anything we’d ever expect to see in reality, considering the LFA hasn’t been in production since 2012. And if Lexus ever makes the supercar again, they’ll have trouble just fulfilling the demand for all the non-wagonized LFAs they winnow out.

But still, that didn’t stop Rain Prisk Designs from dreaming up the contraption above, which was posted on the company’s Facebook page recently. And though unlikely, is still pretty freaking cool.

Apparently this isn’t Rain Prisk’s first foray into the wild shooting-brake-imagination business, as you can see in the first image of the slideshow below, which shows off an earlier rendering of a Viper Shooting Brake. Because the LFA Shooting Brake alone just wasn’t unfathomable enough, I guess.

While you’re in the gallery, check out some of the company’s other dreamy designs as well, or head to their Facebook photos for even more Photoshop magic.
