Lexus LFA & Co. Attack the Legendary Goodwood FOS Hillclimb!

If you’re a die-hard Lexus (or racing) fan, the Goodwood Festival of Speed has got to be near the very top of your gearhead bucket list. The legendary event features a series of different racing events, but one of the most exciting to watch is the FOS Hillclimb.

The hillclimb consists of nine actual turns over the course of a 1.1 mile (1.8 km) run. Though in reality there are a couple more bends, but that’s besides the point. The short run up the hill is made exceptionally tricky due to various undulations on the road, blind turns, and typically slick surface due to summer rains.

This footage by Goodwood Road & Racing, is an exceptionally well-filmed video, as it really manages to capture the awesomeness that is the FOS hillclimb. The main stars of the video are the Lexus LFA, the RC F, GS F, the RC F GT3 racer, and even Scott Pruett. The combination of sights and sounds found on this short video are nothing short of exhilarating.
