Lexus LF-CC Concept to Debut in Paris
In just a few weeks, Lexus will be introducing a new concept vehicle called the Lexus LF-CC. LF stands for Lexus Future, but the CC part could easily stand for Concept Coupe. Lexus is continuously moving forward with leading hybrid technology and edgy styling thanks to the addition of the signature spindle grille. Perhaps this concept could be the long awaited SC replacement we’ve all been longing for?
This two door coupe concept will feature some interesting attributes. First of all its a coupe, FINALLY! It is uncertain if this is a midsize or D Segment coupe as the Lexus Press Release mentions both. Second it is rear wheel drive and lastly it will feature a new high efficiency 2.5L Atkinson Cycle 4 cylinder hybrid motor. With the launch of the LF-LC coupe in Detroit earlier this year and a second coupe concept following it a la LF-CC, we have a strong feeling that a true Lexus coupe will finally satisfy what was lost since the first generation SC 300 & 400.
Although no other official details have surfaced, Lexus will have their press conference at the 2012 Paris Motor Show at 8.45 AM CET on September 27, 2012. The world will be watching!
