Lexus IS Nominated for North American Car of the Year Award

There’s so much stiff competition this year, that even being on the list should be considered an accomplishment. And given that the nominees span such a wide variety, it’s kind of strange that an ultimate winner will be crowned from the crowd. 

Last year, in a move which left a lot of enthusiasts wondering if they’d sustained a head injury, the same voters named the Range Rover Evoque the North American Truck of the Year. This was despite the fact that the British beefcake has about as much in common with a proper truck as a bulldog has with a Siamese cat. But let’s ignore the sometimes nonsensical reasoning of the jury and keep our fingers crossed. The full list is below.
