Lexus Finally Offering F Performance Driving Schools

While performance driving schools have become part of the incentive landscape for many automakers, it’s taken Lexus a little longer to get with the program.

But now, if you’re in the mood to get a little better acquainted with the IS350 F Sport, RC 350 F Sport, RC F, and GS F, you can learn from the best at the Lexus F Performance Driving School.

If you’re going to learn from the best while driving the best cars, you should probably hang out at some of the best tracks in the country too. Lexus school will be in session September 30 through October 2 at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida; October 7 – 9 at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois; October 27 – 29 at New Jersey Motor-Sports Park in Milville, New Jersey; and February 10 -12, 2017 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

Each outing will offer three different levels of instruction. There’s the most basic Express Experience, which at no cost to you offers classroom instruction, autocross time, and lead-follow laps on the track. Then there’s the $495 Half-Day Experience, which also includes braking training, slalom and skidpad time, and hot laps alongside a pro driver. And finally there’s the $895 Full-Day experience, which throws in racing-line training and driving theory, and more seat time, of course.

Sure it may seem like this is a better-late-than-never scenario, but keep in mind, Lexus performance cars in general were late to the performance party too. And now look how well that party is being attended.
