The Lexus RX has been a segment giant and a best-seller for Lexus since its introduction—but the mid-size luxury crossover has been overdue for a major refresh. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait much longer for it. According to Edmunds—who spoke with Lexus VP Jeff Bracken—the next RX will debut at this year’s New York Auto Show.

We saw production-ready mules testing throughout 2014, so it makes sense that Lexus will finally debut the latest model in the Big Apple. Expect to see a host of new engines, and possibly later in the run, a 7th row option.

Stay tuned, as we’ll know more as we creep closer to the New York Auto Show.
