Lexus Creates Video Looking at the History of F

By -

hitsory F

Since the birth of the F brand, Lexus has been working to prove to the world that it is more than a simple luxury brand. Lexus wants to compete against the performance badges of the world as well. That single letter F signifies a Lexus model that is faster, more powerful, and more capable than any of its siblings. F stands for raw power and ability. It stands for uncompromising performance.

To celebrate the history of F and look at the progress of the badge so far, Lexus has created a great little two-minute video. It covers the initial testing prototypes, the original IS F, and various racing models over the last few years. It goes on to the LFA, the RC F, and the new GS F, as well. If there was any knowledge or technology gained for the F program, it is included in this video.

It’s only just over two-minutes long, and it’s worth every second of your time. If you love the ever-expanding history of Lexus’ performance division, this may be the best thing you see all day.
