The Lexus LFA is easily the prettiest car that the Japanese marque has ever created, and the world has become a sadder place since its limited production ended two years ago. But just because the car is no longer in production doesn’t mean that it has ceased to exist. To celebrate five years since the car first hit public roads, Lexus UK setup a photo shoot that has been created to accentuate just how different, forward thinking, and dramatically beautiful this car really is.

Using long exposures and a technique known as “light painting,” the LFA is presented in a way that it never has been before. The shots are amazing, and they manage to show off every curve and crease in the body in a new and exciting way. There is also a lot of drama and tension thanks to the intelligent use of light sources, both in the car and out.

Lexus says they will be doing a “making of” series for these shots later, but for now just stare at what is sure to be your new desktop wallpaper.
