Justin Timberlake Jams On The Lexus Stage

Justin Timberlake is undeniably one of the hottest musicians in our generation today. Just last week, J.T. brought his smooth swagger to a block party on Hollywood Blvd. hosted by Jimmy Kimmel Live. J.T. rocked the crowd from The Lexus Stage despite being under the weather that night.

This special concert was held outdoors, just outside the El Kapitan Theater during the broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live. J.T. performed and belted out the hits with “The Tennessee Kids” behind him. Despite J.T. fighting a cold that night, he took back the night by giving the crowd one hell of a performance while taking sips of a hot drink before and in between songs.

Thousands of social media savvy concert-goers including myself packed the closed off Hollywood Blvd. Instead of lighters and candlelights, the crowd was armed with smartphones in-hand while simultaneously taking photos and video of the concert. Show promoters encouraged the crowd to hashtag their uploads with #TimberlakeonKimmel. Needless to say, I did that myself.

J.T. performed five of his chart topping hits including “Take Back The Night”, “Cry Me A River”, “Rock Your Body”, “Mirrors”, “Sexy Back” a new single entitled T.K.O. from the recently released “The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2” album. A new 2014 Lexus IS F SPORT in Ultra White was parked in the middle of it all while people danced and sang to J.T.’s grooves. It was definitely a great night as Justin brought “Sexy Back” and so did Lexus with the all-New IS. Special thanks to Nancy, Allison and Lexus for inviting me to this historical Lexus experience.
