Lexus Announces 2014 Lexus IS Pricing

Lexus has released the U.S. pricing for the long anticipated 2014 Lexus IS. Lexus has somehow managed to reduce the price by 2.1% from the outgoing model and offer $1,400 in options which are now standard in the new IS. The 2014 IS 250 RWD will have a starting MSRP of $35,950 and top out at $41,700 for an IS 350 AWD.

Like the past, three main package options will be available for IS in the form of Premium, Luxury and F SPORT. For the first time, an IS 350 AWD will be available in an F SPORT package, a bonus for those in the midwest and north eastern regions.

There are no mention of premium options like Radar Cruise with Pre Collision System, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Alert, LED headlamps, Headlamp Washers, Heated Steering Wheel or Automatic High Beam. We hope these features are not deleted for the U.S. market.

It’s unclear which optional equipment will be available for certain packages but we hope the F SPORT models will have important features like Navigation with Mark Levinson, Back Up Monitor, Power Rear Sunshade and Intuitive Park Assist. Our guess is that a typically built IS 350 RWD F SPORT (Navigation, 18″ Wheels w/Summer Tires, VGRS) would have an MSRP of $46,000.

Packages with optional equipment will vary will vary by region. We hope there are more options available as this list is a bit trim. The Executive F SPORT package like Canada will get would be nice. With production of the new IS in progress, expect the first batch of 2014 IS to arrive in dealerships next month.
