It’s Official! TRD & Modellista Parts For The 2014 IS

A few months back, we discovered photos of what looked to be F SPORT Parts for the upcoming 3rd Generation IS. As the New IS officially debuted in Japan today, so did the official introduction new dress up parts. Like the new GS and LS, new IS buyers in Japan will have the choice of F SPORT PARTS for the new IS in TRD or Modellista form.

The TRD version is a sporty and aggressive package that adds to the New IS F SPORT’s bold styling. A full exterior aero package made of ABS plastic will include front spoilers, side skirts, a rear diffuser and rear decklid spoiler. The only engine performance option will be the quad tipped sport muffler which will only work with the optional rear diffuser. Chassis enhancements include a sport suspension package including lowering springs, performance shocks and sway bars. Chassis braces and a rear mount performance damper add additional rigidity to the chassis. A lightweight 19″ forged aluminum wheel set is available as well. The exterior aero parts will be available in both unpainted and pre-painted, but only two colors (Ultra White 083 and Obisdian 212). The F SPORT (TRD) Parts can purchased as a whole package or ordered a la carte. Majority of the F SPORT (TRD) parts are only available for RWD model IS only. If one were to order the whole F SPORT (TRD) package, be ready to shell out $14,000+ for all these parts. Oh and don’t forget to add shipping!

The Modellista package adds a more luxurious but sporty look to the 2014 IS. This aero package will be available for the standard and Version “L” of the new IS. Like the F SPORT (TRD) version, the Modellista aero package is made of high quality ABS plastic. Front spoiler accents, side skirts with chrome trim and a rear diffuser with an optional quad tipped sport exhaust are available. An optional 18″ aluminum wheel is also available with this package.
