Next Generation IS F With 450+ Horsepower?

What if the next Lexus IS F was bigger and badder? How about 450 horsepower, available in sedan as well as coupe and convertible form and aimed at Deutschland's best? Sound good? So far we think so.

According to the folks at Best Car Magazine, the next Lexus IS F may get 475 PS (469.5 HP) out of a 5.0L V8 and will be available for the first time in coupe and convertible variants. This is welcome news for those looking for a true BMW M3 competitor. Now the big question is, will we see a real 6 speed manual or a dual clutch type transmission? We pray to the Lexus gods for this to happen. So what about that blurb on the GS F? More to come...

They have been going into the wrong direction for quite some time now, actually maybe not euro so much, but the whole point was more torque, more power in smaller engines. I guess I should just pull the infamous 2jz-ge motor out of my Lexus and drop in an LS1/z06, is all I'm saying, Rose. Lol, but was already done to a gs300, but my main point is stick with the inline-6 and boost it, easy 500-600 hp of pure g-force and fun! Since you made me explain, haha.......

The ISF V8 is the premier V8 on the road that has unlimited potential for power built by Yahama ! The HP and Torque difference is only a minus 40. If Lexus adds 500HP to this Engine consider the BMW and the other competitors in its class to be whipped.
