How-To Tuesday: Clean Up Your Foggy Lexus Headlights
Fog lights are cool. Foggy lights are not. Not only do they look bad, but trying to light a dark road with them is bad, dangerously bad.
But what’s a Lexus driver to do? Pay the 150 or so dollars to have them cleaned, while spending all that time scheduling your appointment, waiting for the dealership to finally get to your car, then finding out they skipped a headlight? Come on, folks! This is prime DIY time. This is time for your self-reliance to shine. For your independence to take flight. In other words, it’s time for How-To Tuesday!
As we do every Tuesday, we’re highlighting an article from Club Lexus‘s How-Tos section. Today’s article is called, appropriately enough, “How To Repair Foggy Headlights,” and it walks you easily through all the necessary steps of cleaning up headlights on your IS, ES, GS, LS, or RX Lexus models between 2005-2013.
The repair should only take you a couple of hours, and it should only cost you about 15 bucks. But while it might seem like an easy fix, this one’s actually rated as moderate on the difficulty scale, because you may have to disassemble and assemble the headlight to get to all the murky bits.
But are you going to let that stop you on your quest for clarity and independence? I should hope not, considering How-To Tuesday will be with you every step of the way.
