Mega Gallery: 2016 Lexus RX Revealed at New York International Auto Show
The new 2016 Lexus RX was such a big debut at the New York International Auto Show that it couldn’t even stick around the full press day for the show.
After struggling to get a closer look and photos of the luxury crossover after its unofficial unveiling, we returned later to learn that the vehicle was revving up for a debut on the Live with Kelly and Michael show as part of their Tuesday auto show lineup.
That kind of spotlight on the new RX will certainly kick the appeal of the SUV up even more.
Sporting what could arguably be considered one of Lexus’ most aggressive production designs to date, there’s certainly no mistaking the RX among all the other cars being showcased in New York. It features a completely new front end, more aggressive front bumper and triple-L-shaped LED headlamps.
Under the hood, the Lexus RX features a more powerful 3.5-liter V6 mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission that is expected to deliver 300 horsepower from both a standard and a hybrid model. But it’s the new RX’s design that has most people buzzing over the new Lexus.
