Family Feud: Lexus SC430 vs FR-S Drift Battle
It was bound to happen. The FR-S has entered the drifting scene only to come against an SC430 at Formula D, New Jersey. Besides the SC300, these are the only two cars from Toyota that have found any kind of success in the professional drifting circuit in the US. Well. Besides the Supra anyway.
In a way, this is like a duel between cousins. They’re both Toyota’s at heart, even though the FR-S is technically a Scion and the SC430 is technically a Lexus.
This battle is particularly intresting because both cars are using the motor confiugrations they came with. The Sc430 packs a torquey Toyota V8 while the FR-S makes due with it’s turbo powered flat four. It’s a great round for fans of slideways action. Check it out.
