Consumer Reports Declares Lexus Most Reliable Car Brand

As a surprise to absolutely no one, Lexus has been dubbed Consumer Report’s most reliable brand of 2012. What. A. Shocker.

Toyota took the second spot with Acura rounding out the top three. What about Scion? Well…


They didn’t too too well. They’ve dropped several points this year. They’re not at the bottom, but Scion has been fighting electronic and mechanical bugbears. Lexus have had no such issues and as a result, they’ve been kicking ass.

Even their hybrids were ranked well. The ES300h was given special mention in Consumer Reports’ article. Overall the results are good for Lexus and good for Toyota.
