Commerce Secretary Crashes Lexus in So Cal Hit-and-Run
The US Commerce secretary had a bit of a run in earlier this week when he crashed his Lexus twice.
The first incident happened why Secretary bryson rear-ended a Buick that was waiting for a train to pass. After the collision he pulled his car in front of the Buick, got out, and asked to exchange information. This is where things get weird.
When Bryson gets in his car to leave, he backs into the Buick first and then drives off. The guys in the Buick followed him until Bryson crashed into another car about five minutes later. When officers arrived, they found him unconscious behind the wheel.
Since Bryson tested clean for alcohol, they suspect he suffered some kind of seizure. He was in town to speak at a graduation for a local school.
According to witnesses, the damage done to the Lexus and the Honda that Bryson crashed into suffered minimal damage. Still, police are holding the Lexus for further investigation.
