The Toyota Owners & Restorers Club (T.O.R.C.) has once again managed to make another successful Toyotafest happen and considering this is their 10th Anniversary event, they made it huge by extending the invitation to all the Toyota, Lexus Scion owners this year at the Long Beach Queen Mary Park.

The ClubLexus Southern California members came out in full force, all with their shiny and modified Lexus. All the ClubLexus owners who came out were from all parts of So Cal. The Toyotafest 2005 entrants were given raffle tickets for the assortment of prizes and a commemorative 10th Anniversary T.O.R.C. metal badge to put on their vehicles and a chance to win an award for the classes they are registered in. The voting was based off of the participants vote on a ballot for their favorite vehicle. Categories were separated into several classes (i.e. Corolla, Corona, Supra, JDM, Scion & Lexus just to name a few). Some of our own members came home with awards. Our very own GS Forum Moderator, Ken (LXOGOOD) managed to bring home the honors of "Best Lexus" with his tricked out 2001GS. Karen managed to bring home "Best SUV" for her clean & lowered RX300, Clark (SanseiGS43) brought home the "Newest Vehicle" award for his 2 week old 06 GS430 with modifications and Mitch Allread took home Best Modified vehicle award for his custom 1968 Toyota Corona fitted w/a 1UZ-FE V8, transmission and differential from a SC400. In addition, ClubLexus was given an award for contribution to the 10th Anniversary Toyotafest. Indeed it was a great Spring day as we enjoyed the beautiful Long Beach scenery, the company of many Toyota, Lexus & Scion enthusiasts and a very clear, picture perfect 80 degree day. It sure was a Saturday in the LBC.

Congratulations to all the winners, the visitors that came by to say hello to us at the ClubLexus booth. On behalf of ClubLexus, we would like to thank to all the members from ClubLexus Southern California who participated in this years Toyotafest. This dedicated group woke up early to prepare and roll in their Lexus at 7:30 am. Last but not least, a special thanks to Joji Luz, Mike Foertsch (Toyotageek) and the other organizers of Toyota Owners & Restorers Club and the 10th Anniversary Toyotafest for their hospitality. See you all next year!
