Club Lexus Doesn’t Give an F That Chris Harris Doesn’t Get F
It may seem like big time auto journalist Chris Harris is picking a fight with Lexus, what with his recent Jalopnik post titled “What The F Is A Lexus Performance Car?,” but deep down inside, he really just wants what’s best for the marque, I’m sure.
Well, maybe not sure, but after long-windedly railing against the F team’s lack of vision, Harris does say this much at the very end of his argument:
“I sincerely hope Lexus F finds a direction, an image and a good foothold in the marketplace. I want them to succeed, but I find the brand launch confusing at the moment.”
Granted, this is Club Lexus, and Harris does spend the majority of his piece talking about hard truths for us Lexus fans to swallow. Like maybe the the GS F is underpowered. Like perhaps Lexus did wait too long to capitalize on the success of the LFA.
Of course, there’s plenty to disagree with too, like the fact that Harris calls the RC F “one of the most depressing drives of 2014.” But hey, if he wants to talk trash, well, that’s where Club Lexus really shines. And shine we do in this thread posted my member zema.
