The Telegraph have started driving some of Top Gear’s most highly-rated cars. And what better place to start this review series than with the Lexus LFA, Clarkson’s go-to car, if given the choice?

It’s hard for some of us to imagine, but this 2012 LFA for sale on Craigslist could be the very best $369,000 bargain around.

While it’s completely unsubstantiated, we’re still going to allow ourselves the smallest, faintest bit of hope that this latest next-gen LFA rumor is true.

We all know of the now defunct Lexus LFA’s awesome looks, ridiculous performance, and magical sounding engine. But is all of that enough to commission nearly 12 times its original price?

With Lexus pushing to have more of a sporty reputation, with luxury comfort an added benefit rather than vice versa, it only makes sense that a replacement for the LFA would be in the works, right? Wrong.

With all the coverage we’ve been doling out lately on the LC 500, Lexus’s shiny new halo car, we realize we haven’t been paying proper respect to its not-so-distant relative, the LFA.

Even though she’s already one of the purtiest cars ever, you have to admit the LFA looks even purtier on these PUR wheels.
