2007 SEMA Show: Lexus To Roll Out Performance Parts
LAS VEGAS — The rollout of its F-series models and performance accessories will showcase the first official appearance of the Lexus brand at the 2007 SEMA show. The premium marque’s corporate parent, Toyota, is the official show sponsor.
The all-new performance accessory line will be announced at a press
conference on October 30. The Lexus exhibit also will house the new
IS-F sport sedan, which goes on sale in early 2008 and will be
available for test-drives to SEMA attendees. Showgoers may choose to
take a virtual test on one of three racing simulators and can pick up a
CD with a specially designed video game featuring the IS-F.
Lexus is collaborating with a variety of aftermarket tuners to showcase
nine project vehicles at SEMA. They include the IS-F by 5 Axis Models;
the SC 430 by BRS Autodesign; two versions of the GS 430 by GReddy and
Blitz; three versions of the LS 460 by VIP Auto Salon, Fesler
Productions and CEC Wheels; and the RX 400h by 714 Motorsports in
partnership with Momo USA. In addition, the display will feature the IS
350 concept by Toyota Racing Development.
